Tuan Muhammad Arief bin Tuan Mohamad Yusof was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2016, following the completion of his LL.B (Hons) at the University of Malaya. He began his legal career with a focus on building a robust foundation in litigation, gaining essential courtroom experience and honing his skills in advocacy from the outset of his practice.
Since his admission to the Bar, Arief has specialised in civil and commercial litigation, representing a diverse clientele in complex legal matters. His core expertise encompasses debt recovery, defamation, and company law & shareholders’ disputes. Natasha then practised with the corporate banking team of Azmi & Associates, where she continued to hone her skills and lay the foundations of her early legal career. Driven by her professional roots and valued collaborations, she returned to Arief & Iskandar, coming full circle to where her legal journey first began as an intern.
Natasha’s previous practice centred on corporate banking, where she advised financial institutions on complex financing transactions across a wide range of sectors. Her notable work includes acting for Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad on financing restructuring for Terminal Bersepadu Gombak, advising Affin Islamic Bank Berhad on financing for the acquisition of Jaya Shopping Centre, and assisting MBSB Bank Berhad on multi-million ringgit share acquisition financing. At Arief & Iskandar, she brings a blend of corporate, commercial, and entertainment experience, guiding high-profile industry personalities on content-related deals and media ventures while supporting strategic corporate initiatives.
As a former member of the Community Outreach Programme, Natasha worked closely with Kechara Soup Kitchen and Monsters Amongst Us in supporting vulnerable groups across Kuala Lumpur. She also hosted the pilot episode of the Keeping Up with Constitution podcast titled Federal Constitution: The Book that Defines Us, and organised a virtual talk on women’s rights in Malaysia featuring speakers from All Women’s Action Society and Stand Up Malaysia.
